Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada, is an actor best known for playing Bo on The Showcase series Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton in New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay, the producer and director of drama in St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. The father of Silk, Peter, was an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. One of Anna's first memories include going to play rehearsals and watching her mom do her job. Silk was a small girl in commercials. She received a Bachelor's of Arts in 1997 from St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas produced two early shows: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk relocated from Toronto in November 1999 to Los Angeles California to pursue her acting career. Seth Cooperman is her future husband, who she first discovered during her time in Los Angeles at an Actors workshop. In 2009, the couple were married civilly in December 2009. The couple renewed their vows on April 10, 2011 in Fredericton in a Jewish wedding ceremony after Silk changed her religion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was blessed with her son, Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May of 2013. Levi Aaron, Silk's second child was born in the month of the month of May in 2016. Silk has played a range of television roles, including Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. The actress was nominated to win Gemini Awards in 2009 for her performance. She was given the role as Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian TV series Lost Girl in 2009. Silk got pregnant in the course of production of the third season finale episode and broke the news to fans of the series in a Showcase show's pre-show Season Three special on January 6 2013. On June 4 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced the beginning of production for the fourth season. On the 20th of June 2013 Silk tweeted that she was ready to return to the series. CNN has named Bo's character along with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most popular TV couples of all time. E! voted it the top couple on TV in 2013. Entertainment Television.
